Peace Scouts International is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to educating children that peace is an action, an experience. Peace is describe as a power and the attributes or characteristics of peace, such kindness, wonder and action are what fuels peace.
Peace Scouts International became a non-profit organization by obtaining its 501c3 on January 25, 2008. Our board members are agents of change ensuring Peace Scouts International is fully supported. The organization is governed by a seven-member Coordinating Council consisting of the following members: Mary Coacher, Vic Colman, Karin Ganz, Rashi Gupta, Jill Johnson, Julie Nurse, and Maggie Sinclair.
